Spring Up Your Life

Posted by Luke McMeeken-Ruscoe on

The weather is getting nicer. Spring is here and people get into spring cleaning the house, but are you spring cleaning your life?

The relationships you have with yourself, others, food, and things are also super important to clean up. How can you make your life easier and better?

You are the most important person in your own life. I am huge for taking care of others, but to do that you need to take care of yourself first. This isn't selfish, it is essential.

The classic saying that you can't pour from an empty cup.

Working out or moving is important for human beings. It doesn't have to be anything formal but something is better than nothing.

Surround yourself with people that give you energy and hold you accountable.

There are people that we call friends, but are facilitators, they don't hold you accountable they let you away with things and justify everything to be someone else's fault. Take responsibly for your actions and spend time with people that want more for you, not less.

Food is medicine. Eating right can make you look and feel better.

I love food, especially sweet things. I am a child when it comes to my taste buds. However, I know it is terrible for me. So sweets are sometimes foods. I try to eat whole unprocessed foods as much as I can. Meat and fruit is largely on the menu.

We all like things. Nice things are lovely. But better than things is spending time with people that you care about. Focus on quality time with quality people. Things can wait.

Moment of Gratitude

I am about to spend the day with my big sis and my nephew who I have only seen once before. I hope he remembers me.

He is at that age that he just smiles at everyone so who knows if it is that he remembers me or just that he is a smiley little man.

Shave well, Be awesome, Spring up your life, it is worth it.
