Some shaving lessons in this crazy time we are living through

Learn from the masters

I stumbled upon the video below of a Japanese traditional barber performing a wet shave. Not only did he use all the techniques that I have been encouraging people to use for a good shave.

  • Small strokes
  • holding the skin tight
  • Going with the grain to start with
  • Then against the grain for the smoothest finish

From a shaving point of view, it's very informative but what I found most interesting was how relaxing it was and that is why I wanted to share it.

Its a little crazy out there at the moment and when talking to friends there is a lot of talk around anxiety and fear so hopefully this video gives you a sense of calm, I know it did for me.

Look after each other out there, wash your hands, call up people you know are at risk, just be the best human you can be.

Be Awesome.
