Time has become a huge idea for me. We don't get much of it and so how we use it is very important. Even though I feel like I waste a lot of it lying on the couch watching tv 😢.
We want Straightface to help give you some time back. You don't have to go to the supermarket because you have forgotten to buy blades. You don't take as long shaving because you are always shaving with a smooth sharp blade, and most importantly, you don't even have to think about it because it all just happens.Â
Ideally, you can use this time for something better.
Make them smile.
What you do with your time is very important and spending it with people you care about is just about one of the best ways to spend it.Â
It is my old mans birthday this week and there was a dinner planned last night. He lives in Wellington and i am based in Auckland. It has been a long time since I saw him last because of the lockdowns and work and just general life things.Â
I planned to come down and surprise him. I got to spend some time with a friend for breakfast before picking up his present. We went to Fidel's in Wellington. It has the best milkshake in the country. If someone has recommendations for a better milkshake I would love to hear it, but holy moly, that milkshake is great.
Sorry, I got sidetracked there.
So we picked up a present and then I got dropped off at my fathers place and his little smile when he opened up the door was well worth the crazy price for tickets to fly down.Â
It is just a short trip. I am flying back to Auckland very soon, but with the little time we have on this earth I think choosing to spend it with people you love is a great option.Â
And if you want to do that with a clean shaven gorgeous face, we encourage that too 😎
Moment of Gratitude
I am thankful for my bodies ability to change.
I indulged a bit during lock down. I have a sweet tooth. See above about my enjoyment of milkshakes.Â
Speaking of milkshakes, I love cocopops. During lock down I would eat a box of them at a time. I would get a box and a 2 liter of milk and a mixing bowl and have an awesome time.Â
Not surprisingly I put on a few kgs.
Since lock down I have lost over 10kgs. Most of it is diet, but damn do I still love sugary treats. It also helps to get back to the gym.Â
The over indulgence really made me think of where I wanted to be health wise so I still want to lose a few more kgs to help with my injured ankle (very long story).Â
It is a constant struggle to not eat more than I need, but I am lucky that my body still responds when I make changes.
Shave well, be awesome, spend your time making people you care about smile.
