A Fresh New You

Do you want an easy way to update your look?

Have a shave 😎

Shaving is a chance to reinvent your look.

For me, It might have been a couple of days, it might have been a week, but when I have a shave I feel like a new person. The ritual of taking time out for me, having to be very present in the moment. Being thoughtful and considered with my movements to make sure I go over all the hairs correctly. It is a process of renewal.

Bruce Lee said "In building a statue, a sculptor doesn’t keep adding clay to his subject. Actually, he keeps chiseling away at the nonessentials until the truth of his creation is revealed without obstruction.

When we shave we remove the non essential so show our most genuine selves.

It is the little things

Shaving might be a little thing, but little things add up over time and mean so much.

It is the holding the door for someone. Emptying the dishwasher. Telling someone thank you. Acknowledging you made a mistake.

In a world of social media and grand gestures, the little things can speak so much louder, because they are much more genuine.

Moment of Gratitude

Speaking of little things, I love fresh clean sheets. The weather is getting nicer, I went to the beach, came home very nearly having been burnt, had a shower, remade my bed with clean sheets and had a nap.

It was so lovely to get into bed with clean sheets. Again, just a small thing but a lovely experience to enjoy. Sometimes we forget to enjoy the familiar experiences around us.

Sometimes they are the best things.

Shave Well, Be Awesome, Do the little things.
